CDs in Stock Part 16

We’ve made it to the F titles!

Here’s a new recording by Stromberg and Morgan of two of the most gorgeous, elegiac Herrmann scores, Fahrenheit 451 with “Walking Distance” from Twilight Zone, $25. A must!

We have three copies of the Tadlow recording of Tiomkin’s Fall of the Roman Empire, here, here and here, $25.

Vince Di Cola fans: here’s a rare promo CD that Vince put out, called Falling Off a Clef—basically, music he did for an unrealized project, $25.

We have as sealed copy of the Quartet/Ortolani release, Fantasma d’amore, $35.

Fantastic Journey is perhaps my favorite of the Erich Kunzel/Cincinnati Pops compilations that I discovered back in the day. Yours for only $3!

We have two copies of the Kritzerland release of The Far Horizons/Secret of the Incas by Hans J. Salter and David Buttolph, respectively, here and here, for $12.

We have three copies of the out-of-print, expanded James Horner release from Intrada of A Far Off Place, here, here and here, $45.

We have two copies of the FSM Andre Previn CD of The Fastest Gun Alive/House of Numbers, here and here, for $12.

We have four copies on Kritzerland of the early Bernstein scores, Fear Strikes Out and The Tin Star, $18.

If you missed Ferris Bueller’s Day Off from La-La Land Records, we have a copy for $35.

We have a copy of La-La Land’s super-duper Fiddler on the Roof (arr. John Williams) for $35.

We have a homemade DVDR produced by Roger Hall called Film Music Master: A Tribute to Bernard Herrmann, which came to us in one of the collections we’re selling. We’re asking $15. Contains a variety of audio, video and data files.

This is as good a place as any to say that if you ever buy one of these homemade CDRs or DVDRs from us and it ends up being unplayable or not what was advertised, of course we will refund your money!

We have a copy of the Phillip Lambro collection that Perseverance Records put out, $5. Phillip Lambro was rather eccentric (here are my stories) but quite a good composer!

We have a whole bunch of “Film Music Of...” collections, starting on this page at the site. Most of them are really affordable, and you might find them great entry points to composers you have been wanting to sample.

We do have two copies of a popular promo from back in the day, Film Music by Michael J. Lewis, because it’s big and orchestral. They are here and here, $25.

More tomorrow, thanks!
