CDs in Stock Part 26

Thanks everybody for showing up at yesterday’s new titles announcement! We had a good day of sales and are working today and tomorrow on shipping those out.

I’ll continue from Monday to go through the current inventory and point out cool stuff. Picking up where we left off in the L titles...

We have three copies of the original Varèse Sarabande Love Field by Goldsmith, only $5.

Lucia is a Morricone score on Rai Trade that’s harder to find, $45.

And now time for the Ms:

We have the original GNP Crescendo release of Mad Max III: Beyond Thunderdome, $35. This was the first CD of the Capitol album, with the Tina Turner songs on one side and Maurice Jarre suites on the other—great score!

Maddalena is a classic Morricone score. We have the Saimel edition, $25. Bless the Maestro for this one of his many infectious creations:

Maestro Morricone is one of the more unique Morricone collections in that it’s packaged in a metal tin. We have one copy, $25.

We have a copy of Elmer Bernstein’s latter-day recording of The Magnificent Seven which came out on RCA, $15.

Making the Grade is a college comedy score by Basil Poledouris from the mid-1980s—and it is so good! We have one copy of the Varèse Sarabande CD, $25. The hilarious liner notes by Richard Kraft capture the era very well.

A Man Called Horse is the FSM CD of Rosenman’s Native American-flavored western score, for the Richard Harris film. I was very happy when we finally got this one released—it took a while. We have a copy for only $12.

We have a copy of Daniel Pemberton’s Man From U.N.C.L.E. remake score, on WaterTower for only $8. I wasn’t wild about the film but thought the score was good, and paid homage to the original in a playful way.

We have a copy of Mancini’s charming score to The Man Who Loved Woman, on Varèse Sarabande for $25.

Man, Woman and Child is a lovely Delerue score on Quartet. We have a sealed copy, $15.

Manchester by the Sea is an excellent film, and so depressing I don’t think I ever want to see it again. Lesley Barber’s score is very good, and we have a copy of the Milan digipak for $15.

We have a copy of the Manchurian Candidate remake score on Varèse Sarabande, by Rachel Portman. I didn’t realize the CD also includes the 1962 original by David Amram, in stereo. Nice! $5.

Back tomorrow with more M titles—thanks!
