CDs in Stock Part 28

We have two copies of the excellent DRG release, Morricone–Belmondo, featuring three scores: Le Professional, The Outsider and Le Casse. We’re asking $25. The latter features one of my favorite Morricone tunes:

We have the Blue Moon CD of Mr. Lucky and Mr. Lucky Goes Latin, two seminal Mancini albums, $12. The latter is the source for that unique Mancini creation, “Lujon,” that you might remember from Sexy Beast:

Mr. Robot was one of my favorite shows when it was on some years ago. Although it disappeared for stretches down Sam Esmail’s own navel, it was stylishly made and featured terrific, usually electronic scoring from Mac Quayle. We have Vol. 2, $12, and Vol. 4, $15, of the Lakeshore albums. The rightful hear to Tangerine Dream, I say.

We have a reissue of Music for 2001, the Alex North album of his intended film performance for 2001: A Space Odyssey (the score Kubrick rejected), that was done as an official CDR-on-demand, $15. It’s so funny that this is something that we fans were dying to hear for decades, and now it’s on a CDR in my storage room.

We have a copy of 3CD set Laurie Johnson collections that were beautifully done by the Edsel label. Vol. 2 is called The Professionals and features a variety of TV music; go here for the Discogs track list, $45. Vol. 3 features The New Avengers as well as other projects; again, here’s the Discogs track list, $55.

We have two copies of My Geisha by Waxman, on Kritzerland, $18.

We have three copies of Herrmann’s Mysterious Island, the original soundtrack performance on Cloud Nine, $12.

The Mysterious Island of Captain Nemo is an out-of-print Gianni Ferrio score on Quartet, $65.

The Mystic Warrior is a wonderful symphonic score by Gerald Fried to a Native American-themed TV project from the early 1980s. We have two copies of the SAE pressing, $25. Star Trek fans—if you like “The Paradise Syndrome,” you’ll love this. Also, it stars Robert Beltran, Chakotay from Voyager.

We have two copies of Navy Seals by Airwolf composer Sylvester Levay, on Intrada, $45.

The Neon Demon is a pretty cool electronica Cliff Martinez score to the weird Nicolas Refn horror-thriller. We have the Milan digipak, sealed for $18.

Nevada Smith is a 4CD set of Paramount western scores that I helped produce. Very proud of this one, especially for Raksin’s Will Penny. It’s a really nice collection that’s now out-of-print; we have one copy for $45.

We have three copies of Never So Few/7 Women, the FSM CD (Friedhofer/Bernstein), $8. I really loved the main title to Never So Few.

We have a sealed copy (complete with obi strip) of Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, by Jo Hisaishi, $45.

Finally, today, we have two copies of Intrada’s release of The Nightcomers by Jerry Fielding—really beautiful work in that typically subtle, strange and sophisticated Fielding style. Only $15.

Back tomorrow—thanks!
