I found a whole new way to procrastinate via YouTube (as if there weren’t already enough ways): videos of the synthesizer patches that were used on classic pop hits.

A lot of film and TV scores could probably be chronicled this way (and at least a couple are in the videos).
Funny to think how many iconic hits used patches that were pretty much right out of the box—it was all so new, everything felt fresh.
