If you haven’t seen it yet, Heritage Auctions is offering the collection of Greg Jein, model maker from Star Trek, Close Encounters and numerous others.
Above: an actual Shatner hairpiece from the original Star Trek (first or second season, judging by the color).
Greg was a wonderful man and huge talent; I wrote about him upon his passing.
He was also a massive collector of sci-fi memorabilia and his collection is absolutely astounding.
I can’t afford any of this, and honestly, I don’t think I’d want things this valuable in my house!
