New CDs and Books for Sale

Today’s lot is pretty small for us: 235 items, mostly CDs, but with some film music related books—including several I never even knew existed.

The store is updated with the new titles, and go here for the spreadsheet which is often easier to browse (but does not get updated as titles sell, please note).

A few points today:

  1. The store always slows to a crawl when I send out the email newsletter (which I’ll do within the hour). I’m trying to find a way to improve it without just throwing a small fortune (that I don’t have) at the problem. But I know it drives everybody crazy—it drives me crazy too! Just be patient as the traffic will slow down.

  2. Reminder to U.S. customers: Free shipping starts at $50! (You have to choose it on the check-out money: choose the free shipping instead of “flat rate.” There was no way to program it to do this automatically.) So if you’re buying in the $35-45 range, you could probably spend the same amount of money just adding a couple more items to hit $50.

  3. More good stuff coming soon! We have more DVDs and Blu-Rays to list—and just yesterday a collection arrived, and every box I opened was full of the specialty label, big-name composer, high-value items that people need and want. So stay tuned!

  4. If you haven’t been reading the blog, I’ve been going through the entire store inventory to point out noteworthy items, with YouTube links to tracks, etc. I’m halfway through the alphabet. While a lot of the items I’ve plugged have sold, most have not, so if you want to go backwards and read these columns, they might point out some low-priced gems for you.

  5. With the books, keep in mind that our CD is calibrated for CD weights for shipping. Books weigh more, but we’ll just eat that cost (as opposed to paying for more programming that always comes with new problems). So you’re getting even more of a bargain on the books than you might think.

And as always...thank you for shopping at the store! It’s a privilege and pleasure to be able to do this, and spend more time involved with the music I love.
