I didn’t even realize the nominations were being announced. The list is here.
I barely saw anything this year. For those of us trying to make movies (and it’s very distracting when your city is burning down) it is such strange times.
It really comes down to the culture has shifted and movie stars are no longer the major celebrities. And, secondarily, the streamers have taken over distribution.
Nobody quite knows what to do with this.
