The Empire Strikes Back Set Visit

I love anything behind-the-scenes about my favorite movies, especially the original Star Wars films. Here’s a set visit by an English schoolboy to meet Luke Skywalker on the Dagobah set during the filming of The Empire Strikes Back:

And from the same show, a visit to the Enterprise to meet William Shatner during Star Trek: The Motion Picture:

As a lifelong scholar of this era of Trek, I noticed that they “cheat” the corridor shots to make it look bigger. Follow the path yourself via this blueprint.

So before my comments fill up—yes, I am aware that these segments come from a show by Jimmy Savile, who was later revealed to be perhaps Britain’s most prolific child sex predator. As an American, I was unfamiliar, but it’s a truly horrendous story.
