There is a disturbing news story about the Tampa Bay Rays’ 22-year-old superstar shortstop, Wander Franco (a potential hall of famer), whose career could now be over after a relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
I don’t want to editorialize because it’s such a radioactive subject.
So why mention it at all? Because I read the article—I’ve been dimly aware of the situation—and it’s just so gross and haunting.
I guess I need to leave it here. So awful.
